Thaler-Lader 2838 L/S/H – still yard loader or already wheel loader?

The Thaler loader 2838 L / S / H now leaves the category of rather smaller yard loaders, we see it in the category of larger yard loaders or smaller wheel loaders, because in terms of dimensions and horsepower it is rather small like its minimal width of 116 cm, but taking into consideration the drive line, the 2838 does already have all like the big ones:

• 38 HP Yanmar engine, compliant with EU emissions standard level 5 = Stage V, with common rail injection technology and EGR as well as DOC, DPF for the exhaust gas treatment, plus the Yanmar ECU (Electronic Control Unit) for the correct management, but without Ad-Blue - very important!

• Exhaust gas treatment system granted for 6000 maintenance-free operating hours = Yanmar’s proper trust and confidence in their own exhaust gas treatment technology

• Drive line and transmission with planetary gears in the axle hubs

• Maintenance-free service brake in an oil bath

• Two rams are mounted in the centre articulation for a nice and equal steering behaviour

• Best integration and coordination of all components in the drive line:  engine, hydrostatic pump with torque detection and reduction ratio in the final drive

Top speed of 20 km/h and high thrust forces at low engine REVs are impressive. We are ready to help you in large working area as well as in tiny and small space thanks to its rather narrow minimum width of just 1.16 m and to its rather wide angle of centre articulation of 55°. It is always worthwhile to compare the degrees of the angles in the centre articulation.

Just for information: the model name provides information about the maximum height of shovel pivot pin of the lifting boom.

The abbreviation L / S / H means:

2838 L: short lifting boom on a low front chassis for high tipping loads at a relatively low maximum height of the shovel pivot pin = 2.76 m

2838 S: Standard lifting boom on a standard front chassis for normal tipping loads at standard heights of the shovel pivot pin = 3.13 m

2838 H: Longer lifting boom on a standard front chassis with a minor decrease in tipping loads and for better heights of the shovel pivot pin = 3.33 m
